Located in a tranquil sanctuary, this picturesque accommodation offers a unique wilderness experience, allowing you to unwind and relax in complete serenity. The room is situated in a separate building from our main house and features a cozy 28 m² space with a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Inside, you will find a comfortable 140cm bed and a 90cm bed that can be converted into a sofa if there are only two guests. The room also includes a library, table, chairs, mini-fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker, kettle, and all necessary crockery. Outside, you can enjoy the beautiful garden under the shade of a pergola, or simply revel in the magnificent view while dining at the forest table. Additionally, children have access to a shared play area.We accept payment by check, and the price for the room is 45€ for two people or 55€ for three people, which includes a delicious organic breakfast (consisting of one double bed and one single bed). On Fridays and Saturdays, we also offer the option to book organic and vegetarian meals for an additional 12.50€ per person. Please note that pets are not allowed. In the village, you can visit a local potter and purchase locally-made cheese from a shepherdess. The Baronnies region offers a multitude of attractions, including a castle, a Cistercian abbey, a breathtaking gorge, an interpretive trail known as the "Little Amazon," and numerous enchanting villages that seem to have stood still in time. The scenery is truly magical and has been officially classified as such.

Located 660m above sea level in a peaceful village in the Baronnies region, "The Barn Owl" cottage offers a serene retreat surrounded by picturesque mountain views. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the outdoors, with marked hiking trails accessible right from your doorstep.Set on a spacious 3,500m² plot alongside our main house and a separate guesthouse, this renovated barn features a cozy ground floor with a combined living room and kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, you'll find two interconnected rooms, one with a 140cm bed and the other with bunk beds for children.
A garden area provides the perfect spot for al fresco dining, allowing you to savor your meals while taking in the breathtaking mountain landscape. (*We also offer a bed and breakfast option for 2 or 3 people on the same site, called "Chickadees".)
Rental details:
- Outside of school holidays: €285 per week
- During school holidays: €385 per week
- Pets are not allowed
- Payment by check is accepted
Please note that at the end of your stay, a tourist tax of €0.50 per person per day (free for those under 18) will be collected.
Additional services:
- To keep you warm during chilly nights, we provide a sufficient supply of wood for the wood stove, free of charge. However, please note that the main heating is electric.
- Linen rental is available as an optional extra (€10 for single bed sheets, €15 for double bed sheets, and €5 per person for towels). Payment for this service is to be made upon arrival.
- Upon departure, you have the choice of either cleaning the cottage yourself or opting for a €50 fee for us to take care of it for you.

- The town of Lies is located 8km from Bagnère-de-Bigorre, a charming spa town that hosts a delightful farmers market every Saturday. Bagnère-de-Bigorre also offers a spa center (Aquensis), a cinema, a theater, and a swimming pool.
- In the wider area, you'll find the ski resort Domaine "TOURMALET - BAREGES La Mongie" just 20 kilometers away, as well as the famous Peak Midi de Bigorre (known as the ship of the stars) and the city of Lourdes. Our valleys also provide ample opportunities for medium and high mountain hiking.

Super régions , chambre dhôtes sans grand standing , mais elle a plein de charme et ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour très agréable .Et en plus de la gentillesse des propriétaires le panorama est grandiose . Merci

Début novembre...Petit WE de repos dans un endroit paisible et un accueil fort sympathique.
La chambre équipée est très confortable et laménagement cuisine permet d'être indépendant pour les repas.Nous n'avons pas pu goûter aux repas du soir maison car nous sommes restés trop peu de temps.Nous recommandons cet endroit et un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur service.
