Rent this "upscale" cottage in the historic center of Colmar, known as the DOCK OF THE FISH. This charming 40m² apartment features 1 spacious bedroom (23m²) and can accommodate 2-4 people. The apartment is located in a typical 16th-century house with exposed beams and large windows, giving it a unique character. It was renovated in April 2012 and includes parking facilities.The location of this apartment is unbeatable, being only 100 meters away from the Christmas market Koifhus (Old Customs House site), 10 meters from the enchanting Little Venice, and just a short walk from the Market Hall. It is also conveniently located 20 minutes away from the train station, 45 minutes from the nearest ski resorts, and 20 minutes from the renowned Golf Ammerschwihr.
Inside, you will find a bright and peaceful space consisting of a bedroom, a bathroom, a hallway with storage space, and a kitchen that beautifully combines modern appliances with traditional Alsatian style. The apartment offers a stunning view of the Covered Market and Little Venice. Gas heating ensures your comfort during your stay.
The apartment is furnished with two comfortable beds (90X190) treated with anti-mite protection. High-quality sheets, woven by a master weaver from Alsace, are provided. The bathroom includes a bath-shower, a sink, and a hairdryer. The kitchen is equipped with branded appliances, a fridge, an induction cooker, a hood, a microwave, an oven, a coffee maker, a kettle, and coordinated crockery. Other amenities include an iron, a vacuum cleaner, a smoke detector, a coffee table, a dining table for 4 people, a TV, and a mini sound system with a USB socket for your iPod. The decoration throughout the apartment is meticulously done.
Linen, coffee, and cleaning products are supplied for your convenience. Additionally, a foldable baby bed and a smoke detector are available.
Rates vary depending on the time of year. During the Christmas markets (23/11 - 12/31/12) and in July and August, the weekly rate is 490 euros (including expenses and sheets) with parking included. In the months of January, February, October, and November (until the beginning of the Christmas markets), the weekly rate is 350 euros (including charges, parking, and sheets), and a 2-night stay is priced at 170 euros. In the months of March, April, May, June, and September, the weekly rate is 420 euros (including charges, sheets, and parking), and a 2-night stay is priced at 190 euros. Nightly rentals are available for 70 euros, except in June, July, August, September, and December.
The price of parking is already included in the rates. Additionally, the host, Anne, offers another cottage just 50 meters away from this one, which is a 95m² accommodation with 3 bedrooms. If needed, both cottages can be rented together to accommodate up to 10 people.
