Description for B&B:
Firstly, it's worth mentioning that Colmar experiences the same amount of rainfall as Marseille, creating a unique microclimate. Your family-friendly accommodation features two bedrooms and is meticulously maintained, offering a courtyard and garden. It is located in a tranquil area in central Alsace on the edge of Colmar, just a 5-minute bus ride from the city center with a bus stop only 100 meters away. Additionally, it is situated 8 km from the picturesque wine route, including Kaysersberg, Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, and Eguisheim. The two spacious guest rooms, each measuring 23 m², are situated on the first floor and come with their own bathrooms, featuring showers and separate toilets. I am renowned for being welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic, and I am happy to offer insightful advice on local attractions, hikes, walks, and other enjoyable activities, including visits to the Maison Blanck wine cellar in Mittelwihr. Maps and brochures highlighting the historical and cultural sites of Alsace are readily available.
For your leisure, the property offers a library, board games, a barbecue, and a shaded terrace in the courtyard. Guests are welcome to use the common areas, including the living room, dining room, pergola, barbecue, and kitchen, upon request. Secure parking is provided in the enclosed courtyard.
I serve a delightful breakfast, offering both sweet and savory options, with homemade jams available from the early morning. This house is perfect for two couples who wish to relax together in the evening in the living or dining room.
