Description for Gite
The Grape Escape is a charming gite that can accommodate 2 to 4 people. Located in a semi-detached building adjacent to the main farmhouse, this gite offers picturesque views of the courtyard and surrounding vineyards. The main living area, known as the grand room, boasts five large double windows that overlook the vineyards and a beautiful forested valley. Here, guests can relax on comfortable sofas and chairs or enjoy a restful sleep on a king-size bed (or single bed depending on the number of guests).The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds that can be transformed into a king-size double bed if desired. Additionally, there is a set of drawers for storage. The gite also features a spacious bathroom with a bath, stand-alone shower, WC, and basin, offering both comfort and stunning views. A walk-in cupboard/utility room completes the accommodation, providing ample storage space.
Guests can unwind on the paved and shaded terrace, furnished with a garden table, chairs, sun loungers, an umbrella, and a barbecue. This area leads to a spacious French-country kitchen and living area equipped with modern cupboards and new appliances, including a dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, cooker, and washing machine. There is also a breakfast nook and a separate dining table for enjoying meals.

The Wine Cottage, a separate accommodation situated on the opposite side of the courtyard, offers a romantic getaway for four people. It features two luxury en suite bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The cottage is fully equipped, luxuriously furnished, and ecologically constructed, providing an ideal environment to indulge in your love of wine. Underfloor heating throughout ensures comfort even during the off-season. With wooden floors, high ceilings, and natural materials, the Wine Cottage exudes a sense of space and luxury.

Directions
To reach Chateau Haut Garrigue, follow these directions:
If you are driving from Bordeaux airport, start by taking the ring road north towards Paris Nantes. After passing the Pont d'Aquitaine, take exit 1, which is signposted Libourne Perigueux. Keep right and then take exit 26 towards Libourne. After driving for about 18.5 kilometers, take exit 9 to Libourne. Continue for another 6 kilometers and then take the right exit towards Bergerac, St Emilion, and Libourne est.
At the top of the ramp, turn right towards Bergerac and stay on this road, which is known as D936 on the map. Keep following this road until you reach Gardonne, which should take you just over an hour from Bordeaux. At Gardonne, turn right towards Saussignac, which is the D4 road, located near the Renault garage.
After driving for about 4 kilometers from Gardonne, you will come across a district road (D14) as the road to Saussignac begins to climb. Approximately 100 meters after crossing the district road, take the left fork, which is signposted as Chat La Garrigue (us). Then, take the next road to the left, just before the cemetery. Chateau Haut Garrigue is the last property on that road.
If you are coming from Bergerac, take the Bordeaux road and then turn left at the Renault garage in Gardonne. Follow the directions mentioned above to reach Chateau Haut Garrigue.
