Description for B&B:
Auberge Les Liards is located within the Livradois-Forez natural regional park, in a charming area known as the balcony of the Livradois. This name holds true as the region offers breathtaking views of the Auvergne volcano chain from various vantage points. The guesthouse itself sits atop an ancient volcano at an elevation of 800 meters, providing guests with magnificent vistas and unforgettable sunsets. The Livradois area is characterized by its rolling hills, dotted with quaint villages and hamlets, making it an authentic and largely undiscovered tourist destination. Visitors can explore the area without encountering hordes of tourists, but rather immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature and admire the enchanting golden-hued villages.
Our guesthouse offers comfortable rooms, each equipped with its own bathroom. For larger families or groups of friends, we can connect certain rooms to accommodate your needs. With a total of four rooms, our guesthouse can easily accommodate up to 16 people. Two rooms are located on the second floor of the main building and share a cozy sitting lounge. The other two rooms are situated in a separate building, affording them perfect views of the Auvergne volcanoes. These rooms have been renovated using natural materials, with the newest addition, the Nepal room, exclusively featuring eco-friendly materials.
Imagine starting your summer mornings with a delightful outdoor breakfast, surrounded by the stunning views and the melodious chirping of countless birds. Afterward, you can take a leisurely stroll to visit the friendly animals on our property, including sheep, horses, donkeys, geese, and rabbits, all accompanied by the elegant presence of peacocks. If you desire, you can enjoy dinner at our guesthouse (half-board options available). Our kitchen focuses on using locally sourced products, ensuring freshness, and often embracing organic practices.
During the summer months, we organize weekend concerts from July 15th to August 20th, on Saturday and Sunday evenings. These performances take place outside on our terrace, weather permitting, providing a delightful soundtrack to your stay.
