Description:

Description for B&B:

La Croix du Reh has a rich history, dating back to 1620 when it was originally built as an inn in the charming village of Chateauneuf-la-Foret in Haute Vienne, Limousin. Commissioned by French King Henry IV, it has served various purposes over the years, but has now returned to its roots as a chambres d'hôtes, offering a comfortable bed and breakfast experience for travelers seeking shelter.

During the summer months, our guests have the option of enjoying their meals in our garden, creating a delightful dining experience. Upon request, we also provide evening meals. Regardless of the season, guests are always greeted warmly in our Salon, which features original oak beams and a large open log fireplace, perfect for cozying up during the winter months.

Our bed and breakfast in Limousin provides a wonderful alternative to self-catering gites and hotels, offering the genuine warmth and hospitality found in traditional French bed and breakfasts. Even in the depths of winter, when snow blankets the ground, our Salon's inviting log fire ensures a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a carefree Christmas or New Year's break, we offer special deals that can be found on our website.

We provide five en-suite bedrooms with varying capacities, including the Rose Room for 2-3 people, the Blue Room for 1-2 people, the Gold Room for 2-3 people, the Yellow Family Suite for 2-5 people, and the Lavender Family Room for 2-5 people. Additionally, we can provide baby cots for each bedroom. All our rooms are equipped with en-suite baths and/or showers, clock-radios, and coffee/tea-making facilities.

We are open year-round and take pride in ensuring that our bed and breakfast exceeds your expectations for a traditional holiday accommodation experience in France.
