Description:

Description for B&B:

Located on the main street of this enchanting village, this house has undergone an impressive restoration. Originally built in 1785 as the Wine storehouses of Thénacuries and later used as the barracks of Napoleon, this residence has a rich history. Its park was once considered the most beautiful in Europe. In the intervening years, it was purchased by wine growers of pineau and cognac who used the house to store their barrels. However, no renovations had been done for over 90 years. It took more than a year of intensive restoration to restore its former splendor and charm.

We are delighted to share this exceptional heritage with you by creating comfortable and welcoming lodgings and spacious guest rooms. These accommodations blend the elegance of antique furniture with the authenticity of the stone walls. Additionally, we offer longer-stay lodgings for those who wish to explore our beautiful region and discover its many treasures. Our stables have also been restored and transformed into a pleasant and authentic setting, adorned with a "Hurdy-gurdy France" hood, overlooking the fountain where you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine of our area.
