Description for Gite
Tranquility and SerenityOriginally a watermill dating back to the 17th century, Domaine Jean-Got has undergone various transformations throughout history, from a farm to a vineyard. Today, the charming house and surrounding buildings are nestled on a three-hectare piece of land, secluded from the nearby lane, in a peaceful rural community.
Set against the backdrop of a picturesque driveway, you will have the pleasure of exploring 1 ½ hectares of lush pasture on either side. Here, you can bask in the beauty of a small natural stream or take a refreshing dip in our brand-new 10mX5m swimming pool.
Feel instantly at ease as we strive to cultivate a serene environment that allows you to escape from the daily stresses and pressures of life.
Choose your perfect accommodation from two options. The Tower, ideal for two people, offers a cozy retreat. Alternatively, the Annex, a semi-detached section of the main house, can comfortably accommodate up to five guests and will be available from Autumn 2009. Please note that we reside in the main house.
Both houses have been tastefully renovated in a contemporary cottage style, combining modern comforts with rustic charm. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen complete with a ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher. Relax and unwind in front of the flat-screen TV with international satellite channels and DVD player. Stay connected with high-speed WiFi access available both indoors and outdoors.
For the comfort and wellbeing of all our guests, both houses are designated as non-smoking areas.
