Casa Migliaca is located near the northern coast of Sicily, a few kilometers from Cefalù, between the Nebrodi Mountains and the Madonie Mountains. The residence is nestled on a hill facing the sea, on the side of the Tusa River valley. The panoramic view extends between the Nebrodi Mountains and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The house was built in the 17th century. Originally, it was an olive mill. In the early 90s, the establishment was renovated to accommodate tourists, offering simple but friendly hospitality. At Casa Migliaca, the lifestyle is informal: in the evening, dinner is communal. The guests are all gathered around a large round table, which is actually the antique olive press. In the morning, breakfasts are self-service, without specific schedules. Each person helps themselves in the antique kitchen on the first floor. The rooms located in the upper part of the house still have antique furniture. In the rooms on the lower floor, there are symbols of the ancient functions of the residence: the buried jar, the small press, and the chestnut wood loft. All the rooms are spacious. In order to respect the original volumes and architecture, the bathrooms are not very large but very functional. The main building is located in the center of an agricultural structure consisting of a 12-hectare garden, olive and lemon crops.
