Description for B&B:

Russell, Heather, Louis, and Henry invite you to experience the luxurious comfort of their charming 19th-century Chateau. Nestled in the picturesque village of Salechan at the base of the Pyrenean Mountains, this lovingly restored home offers five spacious and opulent rooms, each with its own en-suite facilities and breathtaking mountain views. Built in 1873, the three-story house is set back from the Route Nationale, providing complete privacy and tranquility. The front of the house exudes grandeur with its striking marble columns and balcony. Inside, guests are greeted by a magnificent sweeping staircase, original parquet flooring, and unique marble fireplaces in every room, creating an enchanting ambiance.

Each of our exquisite rooms is named after the stunning vistas visible from their windows. Located at the front of the house, the Chambre St Julien entices visitors to step onto two private balconies, one of which overlooks the Pyrenees and the beautiful Spa town of Bagneres De Luchon. This south-facing room boasts ample space, character, and a meticulously restored original ceiling, parquet flooring, and a magnificent marble fireplace. The en-suite bathroom features a bath, shower, and a private south-facing balcony.

Also situated proudly at the front of the house is the Chambre Pic Du Gar. This centrally positioned room offers a grand balcony and mesmerizing views of Pic du Gar, providing guests with ultimate comfort and tranquility. The spacious room features high ceilings, beautiful wooden flooring, an original fireplace, and tasteful neutral decor, making it a favorite among our guests. The en-suite bathroom includes a large walk-in shower that stretches the length of the room, with double doors opening onto a private balcony.

Start your day with a sumptuous continental breakfast in our exquisitely wood-paneled dining room. In the summer, the doors can be opened to a tiled terrace, creating a truly stunning setting. In the evening, we invite you to join us for a delightful meal in our dining room, adorned with a Louis 13th chandelier, where you can savor local delicacies. Our experienced host, renowned for their culinary expertise, will serve you a 3-course meal featuring regional specialties, accompanied by red or white wine and coffee. Vegetarian options are available upon request. For families with young children who prefer to eat earlier, we are more than happy to accommodate their routines.

We look forward to welcoming you to our distinguished Chateau, where you can indulge in the charm and luxury of a bygone era while immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains and village.
