This lovely and peaceful apartment is available for rent in the picturesque Port Launay, located on the banks of the scenic river Aulne Nantes - Brest canal. It offers a bright, spacious and airy living space fully equipped with modern amenities such as a washing machine, fridge, microwave, toaster, cafétiere, kettle, oven, log burner, SKY television and French TV, DVD player, and a collection of books. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, one with an ensuite walk-in shower, a separate toilet, iron, ironing board, and a hairdryer. Additionally, there is a smaller single bedroom and a large sous sol area with a new clic clac sofa bed, a comfortable leather suite of furniture, and private access through two separate entrances.The apartment can be rented as a whole unit or on a nightly basis with breakfast included, accommodating up to four people. All bedding and towels are provided, and a high chair and cot bed can be supplied if needed. Guests will find entertainment options such as games and a collection of leaflets on nearby attractions. The apartment also offers a safe enclosed garden, sun loungers, a BBQ, bikes, and a kayak for guests to use. Beautiful, untouched beaches are just a 15-minute drive away, while the nearby town of Châteaulin is only 3 minutes away, offering supermarkets, shops, and pavement cafés.
Port Launay itself boasts a boulangerie, a bar, and a restaurant, making it a convenient location for dining out. Port Launay is located one hour away from Roscoff, 2.5 hours away from St. Malo, 35 minutes away from Brest, and 20 minutes away from Quimper. As you approach Port Launay, make sure to keep the river on your left side. Continue past the Quai and you will find our house, which is the first one under the viaduct, toward the ecluse (lock). Look for a B 1 B sign hanging outside the property, along with double white iron gates and a driveway for secured parking.
