Description:

Description for B&B:

La Vayssade has been a family-owned property for four generations. Located on the outskirts of Lalbenque, this charming collection of Quercy-style buildings sits on a 10-hectare plot of truffle oak trees, showcasing the natural beauty of the Causse region.

Our Guest House, which is our very own residence, is housed in a meticulously restored monumental barn that seamlessly blends modern and traditional architectural techniques. It was designed by the esteemed architect Michel Montal from Cahors.

Prepare to be enchanted by the personalized touches throughout the premises, with tasteful decor, a spacious living room that caters to all your needs, a contemporary fireplace, and an open kitchen.

Joelle, Hélène, Pierre, and Emmanuel will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is unforgettable, offering their expertise on the local area, regional cuisine, and unique recipes.

During the summer months, you can enjoy the terrace under the arbor, explore the park and garden, and take a dip in the pool and relax on the beach.

We also provide six bicycles free of charge (booking and deposit required) for you to explore the surroundings at your leisure.

For the colder seasons, our house is equipped with central heating and a fireplace, perfect for cozy social evenings.

Winter is an especially exciting time as you can discover the secrets of the Black Diamond during our Weekend Truffle experience, which includes a truffle-themed dinner, a slideshow presentation, truffle hunting, and a visit to the famous Lalbenque truffle market.
