This charming 18th century farmhouse in Normandy has been beautifully restored and offers three guest rooms with private bathrooms. The rooms include two double rooms and one twin room, accommodating a maximum of six guests.Guests are welcome to enjoy the sitting room/library, as well as the terraces and gardens that overlook a tranquil fishing lake. The perfect setting for relaxation and tranquility.
Located in the village of Ancinnes, our farmhouse is nestled near the enchanting Forest of Perseigne. Whether exploring by car, on foot, or by bike, this area offers endless opportunities for discovery and adventure.
Conveniently, shops are just a short walk away from the bed and breakfast. Additionally, there are excellent and affordable restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive.
Situated on the border of Normandy and the Sarthe region of Pays de Loire, we are only a 10-minute drive from Alençon and the A28 highway. Le Mans is just 30 minutes to the north, while Rouen is an hour to the south.
Alençon serves as an ideal home base for exploring the surrounding regions. From the stunning Alpes Mancelles to the west, to the picturesque Orne and Pays d'Auge to the north, and the captivating Saösnois, Marollais, and Perche park to the east, there is no shortage of natural beauty to discover. Additionally, the enchanting Pays de la Loire region lies to the south.
There are numerous gardens and sights in the area to explore, including the historic Château de Carrouges, the medieval City Plantagenet in Le Mans, the 24 Hours Race Car Museum, the beautiful Ballon gardens and castle, and many more.
