Description:

Description for B&B:

The house, which dates back to the time of Louis XIV, was in a state of complete disrepair when we purchased it in 1974. It has taken us 30 years of relentless hard work and extensive renovations, along with a great deal of courage, to transform it into what it is today. Our dedication and commitment have been recognized by the esteemed "Gites de France," and we proudly hold the coveted "3 epis de charme" rating.

Our establishment comes highly recommended by esteemed publications such as "Rivages des Maison dhôtes de charme," "Le guide du Routard Provence," "Le guide Gantié," "Le petit Futé," and even the prestigious English guidebook "Allastair Sawdays Special places to Stay" and "Mountains of Europe."

During the summertime, guests are welcome to utilize our barbecue facilities. Additionally, we offer the possibility of arranging meals for groups exceeding 10 individuals (excluding the months of July and August). Please feel free to inquire for further details. Whether it's for family gatherings, business meetings, or engaging in sports activities with friends, we can comfortably accommodate 10 to 12 persons.

Directions

If you are traveling from the north (Grenoble), you can reach our house by taking the direction towards Gap (either N85 or N94), and then continuing towards Barcelonnette. The journey from Gap to our house typically takes around an hour.

For those coming from the south (Aix/Sisteron/Tallard), once you exit the A51 motorway, it will take approximately 45 minutes to reach our house.

To reach our house via the Gap-Barcelonnette road (D900), you will need to travel 10 km from Lauzet-Ubaye. After passing "la frésquiere," do not turn right towards Méolans village. Instead, continue for another 500 meters on the D900 and then turn left towards "les Means."
