Welcome to the enchanting town of Loches, where the medieval and Renaissance heritage still captivates visitors. With a rich history spanning over 1000 years, Loches is home to notable landmarks such as the Keep, the Former Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame now St Ours, the Royal Apartments, and the Chancellery. Since 2000, Loches has been recognized as a part of the national network of Towns and Areas of Artistic and Historic Interest.

Located at the heart of the Touraine region, also known as France's garden, Loches is surrounded by vineyards, gastronomy, and natural beauty. Within just 100 km, you will find some of the most renowned Châteaux of the Loire Valley, including Chenonceau, Chambord, Amboise, Chinon, and Villandry.

For a romantic getaway or a family vacation, our recently renovated property offers a charming apartment and a lovely studio, combining the comfort of an apartment with the convenience of a breakfast service.

The apartment features an entrance hall with a comfortable sofa bed (160x200 cm), a television with TNT and DVD, a salon dining room with a sofa, a library, and a double table. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, induction stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all necessary cooking utensils. The bedroom offers a double bed (160x200 cm) and a single bed (90x190 cm), while the bathroom includes a separate bathtub and toilet.

The studio comprises a main room with a kitchen area including a fridge, electric plates, multifunction oven, steam cooking, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and complete cooking kit. The sleeping area features a bed (160x200 cm), and there is a television with TNT and DVD. The bathroom is equipped with a unique shower, featuring a small wall of protection and a tent that makes bathing easier for babies, along with a suitable little bath.

We provide several complimentary services, including bed linen, covers, towels for the bathroom and kitchen, baby equipment upon request (high chair, bed, small bath, potty), high-speed internet access, and electricity, heating, and water. Small pets are allowed upon request. Additionally, we offer laundry facilities with a washing machine and dryer, as well as a garden-drying option. You will find cleaning tools such as a mop, bucket, vacuum cleaner, iron, and ironing board. Electrical adapters are available upon request, and a hairdryer is provided. If you arrive at the Loches station, we can arrange a taxi service from the station to the apartment or to the car rental garage.

We also offer various services upon request, including lunch packets, fresh bread and croissants from the bakery in the morning, cleaning service, cleaning products, taxi service from the Tours or Amboise station to Loches, the apartment, or the car rental garage. For those looking for a romantic evening or a night at the theater, we provide babysitting services. Additionally, Italian lessons are available upon request.

Directions

If you are arriving by car from the motorway, there are three possible routes to Loches:
1. If you are coming from the A85, take exit number 11 for Bléré/Amboise/Loches. Then, head south on D31 for 21 km until you reach Loches.
2. If you are coming from the A20, take exit number 13 for Tours/Buzançais. From there, go northwest on D943 for 64 km until you reach Loches.
3. If you are coming from the A10, take exit number 25 for Sainte Maure-de-Touraine/Chinon/Loches. Then, head east on D760 for 32 km until you reach Loches.

Once you arrive in Loches, always follow the signs for "Château". Drive through the Poitevine Port and you will be on Mail de la Poterie, which is the higher road in the city. You will see the old houses of the citadel on your left and the parking area at the base of the walls on your right. You have arrived!

If you are arriving by air, there are two options:
1. If you are landing in Paris, you can take the TGV line to Tours St. Pierre des Corps from Charles de Gaulle airport. There are also connections to other airports, which you can find on the website www.aeroportsdeparis.fr.
2. If you are landing in Tours, there are flights available from London Stansted, Manchester, Southampton, Dublin, Porto, Marseille, Figari, and Ajaccio. From the airport, you can take a shuttle bus to Tours station and then a train to Loches. More information can be found on the website www.tours.aeroport.fr. Alternatively, you can rent a car.

If you are arriving by train from Tours or Châteauroux, you can visit the website www.trains-horaires.com/gares/loches for all the necessary information. Please note that one of the free services available upon request is a transfer from Loches station to the apartment or car rental garage. The Loches station also has TER ticket machines, bus and coach services, and parking facilities. The train lines serving Loches station are Tours and Châteauroux.
