To the West and North is the valley of la Loue, home to the Excideuil castle.Saint Raphael is a charming village in the heart of Périgord vert. Its notable features include a 12th century church, traditional stone huts known as "bories," scenic woodlands and meadows, and an array of exceptional hiking trails that extend from St Raphael in all directions.
Nestled just outside the village, near the "Grand Lac" where fishermen can indulge in carp fishing, La Maison du Parc is perched atop the crest, offering breathtaking views of the Auvézère Valley. Des notre arrivée, nous avons été conquis par le lieu et l acceuil chaleureux des proprietaires.. Cadre agréable, calme on peut pas rêver mieux!! A essayer sans hésitation!!! Nous reviendrons!!!
La maison du parc
Tout y était parfait: une chambre spacieuse, une belle maison bien agencée et décorée, une vue imprenable que l'on peut admirer lors d'un saut dans la piscine, ou de la terrasse pendant l'apéro d'accueil et le petit-déjeuner avec des confitures maisons. Le seul regret est de n'être resté qu'un jour. Une adresse à refaire et à partager!!
