Welcome to "Au fil de l'eau," a delightful 17th-century cottage that has been completely renovated to offer you a truly enchanting experience. Situated just a few kilometers away from the City of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, both UNESCO World Heritage sites, this charming cottage is nestled in a picturesque setting.Located at the entrance of Montolieu, a quaint village known for its love of books, and overlooking the tranquil river, this characterful cottage boasts a cozy living/dining room with a fireplace and a comfortable sofa bed. The fully equipped kitchen features a beautifully carved stone vault and a large bay window opening onto a sunny terrace of 30m2, offering breathtaking views of the river and the garden.
Inside, you will find two lovely double bedrooms, one with a 1.60m bed and the other with a 1.40m bed. The bathroom is adorned with an authentic bathtub and an Italian shower, complemented by a separate WC. Enjoy the convenience of free WIFI connection, a barbecue on the terrace, petanque balls, and access to a swimming pool. For those who enjoy fishing, trout fishing is also possible on-site.
