Welcome to Les Marmottes, a charming lodging located in Ornon Village, 38520 ORNON. Boasting a cozy 60 square meters of space, our accommodation holds a two-ear rating from the lodgings of France.With a capacity to accommodate up to 6 people, Les Marmottes features two bedrooms. The first bedroom includes a comfortable double bed for two, while the second bedroom offers another double bed for two and a bunk bed with an additional single bed. If needed, an extra bedroom can also be rented.
Inside, you'll find a spacious living room of 20 square meters, complete with a TV and VCR. Adjacent to the living room is a small kitchen equipped with essential amenities such as a toaster, coffee maker, gas stove, and microwave. The lodging also provides a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet. Additionally, there is a shared laundry room available, equipped with a washer, dryer, and freezer.
Situated on the outskirts of the village, our character house is part of a terraced housing complex shared with the owner and other lodgings that can accommodate up to 5 people. For larger groups, both lodgings can be rented together, accommodating a total of 11 people at a discounted price of 10% off the regular rate during non-peak seasons.
Outside, you'll find a spacious terrace spanning 150 square meters, offering shade, a pool, garden furniture, a barbecue, and stunning views of the valley and the Col d'Ornon. There is also a small field with swings just 50 meters away. Les Marmottes is located within the perimeter of the Parc des Ecrins, providing access to beautiful alpine scenery. The Col d'Ornon ski station is just a 5-minute drive away, while Alpe d'Huez and Les 2 Alpes can be reached in 35 minutes and 45 minutes, respectively. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy their hobby in the nearby valley, with a permit required. For those looking to cool off, there are swimming pools located 10km and 20km away. Lastly, the area offers numerous walking trails that start right from the house.

Gîte du RDC
Bernard et son épouse sont sympathiques et chaleureux. Environs magnifiques. Belles randos à faire. Produits locaux excellents : Bergerie de la Lignarre (fromages, viande...) à La Pallud. Bon séjour d'une semaine en avril. Le gîte du dessus est plus lumineux.
Directions
Before reaching Bourg d'Oisans, turn right 2 kilometers ahead. Continue driving for 6 kilometers until you spot the hamlet "la Pallud". Drive for another 2 kilometers and you will reach "Le Pont des Oulles. Do not cross this bridge! Just before the bridge, turn right and drive for 800 meters until you arrive at the hamlet "la Poyat". Keep going for 2 kilometers and you will reach the parking area of ORNON. Park your car here and take a short walk of 30 meters down the alleyway. The house, with 7 velux on the roof, will be on your right. Walk around it and you will be welcomed by the landlords, Dominique and Bernard LEFEBVRE.
