Welcome to the website of Hostelry Blanche de Castille. Located just 2 hours from Paris in Bléneau, the Gaspard family is delighted to welcome you to a warm and inviting atmosphere where you can indulge in traditional cuisine with a touch of Southern flavors. Situated in the heart of Puisaye, the country of Colette, in Bourgogne, our hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay.Our hotel is a 2-star establishment with a restaurant and bar. It was formerly a post office and is located right in the center of the village. We offer several cozy and comfortable rooms with private terraces. Our garden is beautifully landscaped in the inner courtyard. We also provide free parking and private garages for our guests.
The hotel is open every night and offers amenities such as high-speed WiFi, a bar, a terrace, and catered meals. We even accept pets in our company rooms. The room rates range from €45 to €65 for 1 or 2 persons. Our restaurant offers different options, including a €7.50 formula, a €15 menu during the week, and a €22 menu for special weekend events or family meals. We also offer a business package for €54.

Bléneau, a small town with a population of 1500, is the capital of the canton. It is located in the heart of Puisaye, at a distance of 1 hour and 50 minutes from Paris. It is also 58 minutes away from Auxerre, known as the city of Cadéroussel. Montargis, famous for its "crotte de chien" (a type of chocolate) and pralines, is only 45 minutes away. Gien, known for its faience pottery, can be reached in 35 minutes. Briare, the city of the canal bridge designed by Gustave Eiffel and the canal Henry IV, is just 20 minutes away. Additionally, it is only a 5-minute drive to the 7 locks on the old canal Henry IV. Saint-Fargeau, with its castle, can be reached in 15 minutes. Toucy, the birthplace of Pierre Larousse, is only 30 minutes away.
