Welcome to Chez Providence Rooms and Table d'hôtes + Studio. We offer five beautiful bedrooms, perfect for couples, families, and groups of up to 15 guests. Each room comes with a private bathroom for your convenience. Additionally, we have a vacation studio available.Our property is located in a picturesque and peaceful medieval village in the heart of the Montagne Noire in Cathar Country. This area is known for its stunning Cathar castles, including La Cité at Carcassonne, Lastours, Saissac, and Hautpoul, as well as preserved villages. If you're a nature lover, you can enjoy hiking in the nearby forests or swimming in the lakes. It's truly a calm and unspoilt region.
Our guest living/dining room opens up to a sunny terrace, offering a panoramic view of our serene and sunny garden and the beautiful valley of the river Dure.
We provide free Wi-Fi for our guests, as well as a courtesy tray, heating, and air conditioning to ensure your comfort. Breakfast is included in your stay.
For dinner, we offer the option of our table d'hôtes, available by prior reservation. Our dinner is priced at 32 euros per person, with children under 12 years old at half price. On special occasions such as Christmas and New Year's Eve, we offer a special dinner at 70 euros per person, again with children under 12 years old at half price.
In our kitchenette, you can prepare snacks and have access to a fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board, and sewing kit.
Each of our rooms can accommodate 2 to 4 additional beds at a rate of 22 euros per bed. We also provide one free cot for children under 3 years old, subject to room availability.
Our room rates are based on double occupancy per night. Here are the prices for each room:
- La Chambre de la Rose: A romantic retreat (30m²) suitable for 1 to 4 people, with a shower room. The rate is 85 euros for 2 people.
- La Chambre Orchidée: A cozy bedroom (13m²) for 1 to 2 people, with a private bathroom. The rate is 75 euros for 2 people.
- La Chambre Chinoise: A room with a view (30m²) for 1 to 4 people, with a shower room. The rate is 85 euros for 2 people.
- La Fleur de Lys: A suite with 2 bedrooms, perfect for a couple, family, or friends (40m²), with a private bathroom. The rate is 85 euros for 2 people.
- La Chambre du Château: A romantic and peaceful room (35m²) for 1 to 2 people, with a shower room, lounge area with TV, and a sunny furnished private terrace. The rate is 95 euros for 2 people.
- Le Studio du Château: Our vacation studio, offering a calm and romantic retreat (35m²) for 1 to 2 people, with a lounge area with TV, shower room, and a private furnished sunny terrace. The rate is 325 euros per week for 2 people and 1 baby.

Description for Gite
Welcome to the Studio Chateau, a charming self-catering garden level apartment perfect for 1 to 2 people, including a baby. This studio exudes character with its beautiful exposed stone walls, high ceilings, and wooden floors.Upon entering, you will find a private and sunny terrace adorned with a table and chairs, providing a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The studio itself is an open and spacious room, featuring a comfortable bed area, a cozy lounge with a TV, and a well-equipped kitchen complete with a dining area.
For your convenience, there are slate steps leading to a luxurious tiled shower room, which includes a double sink, a large mirror, and a refreshing shower.
In addition to the studio, you will have access to a large communal sunny garden, shared with our B&B guests. Here, you can unwind on the sun beds or enjoy al fresco dining at the table and chairs provided.
Please note that the minimum stay is 3 nights, priced at 185 euros. For longer stays, we offer the following rates: 4 nights for 225 euros, 5 nights for 255 euros, 6 nights for 290 euros, and 7 nights for 325 euros. If you choose to extend your stay beyond a week, each consecutive week is available for 300 euros.

My wife and I recently stayed in the Chambre de Rose which was comfortable, well appointed and with good en-suite shower. Had optional dinner - good honest regional cuisine, beautifully cooked.
