Description:

Description for B&B:

Fleury is a charming 19th century French farmhouse nestled in the peaceful Brittany countryside, only 20 minutes away from the historic Mont Saint Michelle. This traditional house boasts beautiful oak beams, stone fireplaces, and antique furniture, giving it a warm and cozy atmosphere. During the summer months, Fleury welcomes guests, offering comfortable bedrooms with private toilet facilities. A continental breakfast is included in the room price and served every day from 7:30 to 10:00 in the dining room. Upon request, evening meals can be provided.

For families, there are two family suites equipped with baby equipment, as well as a kitchen and sitting room available for guests to use, complete with cooking and laundry facilities. The large landscaped garden offers a peaceful retreat, with barbecue facilities, garden furniture, and petanque. Private off-road parking is also available for guests.

As hosts, my husband and I are very sociable and can communicate fluently in French, English, and German. If you desire a tranquil holiday in the heart of the French countryside, while still being close to major tourist attractions, Fleury is the perfect choice. Situated near the towns of Combourg and Dol de Bretagne, there are numerous restaurants, shops, and markets where you can indulge in the local cuisine. Additionally, we are conveniently located near St Malo, a great place for sailing, and the medieval city of Dinan, which hosts various festivals, markets, and cultural events throughout the summer.

Nature enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy, with numerous golf courses in the area, as well as opportunities for fishing, walking, and even tree climbing at Aquabrances in the nearby forest of Villcartier, just 2 kilometers away. For those looking to explore further, there is a good train service from Dol de Bretagne to Renne, which has an airport.

The bay of Mont Saint Michelle, listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1979, offers breathtaking displays of the largest tides in Europe. The surrounding area provides ample opportunities to discover stunning beaches, enchanting castles, and the rich historical features of this beautiful region.

Appréciations pour Fleury Montmoy, Trans La Foret:

Cette demeure vaut le détour, les propriétaires le méritent- This house is worth seeing, the owners
Review by: Bigot Jérôme, Aou 14 2018 7:22AM

The house is beautiful, the park is just as beautiful. The set is beautifully decorated and maintained.
The owner was a little care without being too intrusive (always a nice word). We appreciated.
The breakfast was full and plentiful.
We had booked the family room (2 rooms upstairs and a kitchen on the ground floor).
The bedding is ok and the rooms are spacious with everything you need.
We have 2 children of 5 and 8 years old. They were delighted to be able to have fun in the park (the kids loved the treehouse) after breakfast before we went on a ride.
The property is ideally located, it is next to the mythical Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo, Dinard, beaches .......
The tourist or leisure places are within 40 minutes maximum of the property.
This place is just as good for walking around as for resting.
We will return, it is a certainty.
Personal Message: We wish a speedy recovery to the owner's husband.
