Le Chateau des Varennes is located 25 km from Toulouse, on the road to Revel (D2), two kilometers after Labastide Beauvoir. It was built in the 16th century by the Toulouse architect Dominique Bachelor and has been in the same family for 22 generations.
As you enter the castle, you'll be greeted by a beautiful courtyard from the 18th century. The main body of the castle is accessed through a staircase adorned with stone cherubs.
Inside, you'll find two large living rooms on the left, a library room and a married bedroom on the right. There is also a beautiful brick staircase that leads to two large vaulted rooms with a fireplace. On the first floor, there are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
The rooms are spacious and bright, decorated with vibrant hues that complement the exposed brick and classic volumes. Each room has its own unique and charming atmosphere, decorated with canopies, daybeds, floral fabrics, and original wall paintings. The furniture in the rooms is a mix of family heirlooms and carefully selected antique pieces.
On the south side, the castle opens up to a park area with stunning views of the Lauragais hills and the Pyrenees in the distance. The pool, located below and facing south, offers a peaceful place for relaxation and contemplation.
