Description for B&B:

Welcome to La Tisserande, a charming historical stone guesthouse that embraces the past while looking towards the future. Nestled amidst woodlands, rivers, oceans, and ancient mountains in the heart of Brittany, this whimsical, inspired, and serene retreat is waiting to welcome solo travelers, couples, families, and friends.

Whether you're on a quest to discover the myths and legends of this magical region, seeking a romantic getaway in the midst of nature, or simply desiring a moment of peace, self-care, and forest-bathing, La Tisserande can transform your wishes into reality. Our XVII century flax-farm and linen-weavery serves as the perfect base for exploring the region in all its directions.

However, your vacation at La Tisserande goes beyond personal enjoyment. 100% of the proceeds from your stay directly support La SOURCE Center for Research & Creation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to Love-Studies - the world's first international and interdisciplinary research center of its kind. By investing in your own adventure, you contribute to ongoing research and become a part of our purpose.

At La Tisserande, imagination finds its space, with hidden beauty waiting to be discovered beyond every tree, river, and moment. Our space is in harmony with the earth, as we strive for an ecological lifestyle that deepens our understanding of our shared home - our marvelous planet.

Our team of four passionate coordinators, along with a mini-dog, 3 hens, A gus, a duck, and 11 goats, are here to serve you and the greater purpose of our project, thereby serving the world.

Renovated in 2012 using ecological and natural materials, our Maison d'Hôtes de Charme offers a luxurious experience. You'll find high-quality hotel linens from Linvosges, washed in organic, body-safe, and earth-safe detergents, paired with high-end memory foam mattresses to ensure a restful sleep. We also provide organic, body-safe, and earth-safe soap, body wash, and shampoo - all customized and sourced locally.

Choose from our selection of accommodations, including a duplex suite for three people, a duplex suite for four people, a double bedroom suite for four people, and an independent fully equipped cottage for two to three people. All rooms include open access to the heated pool.

We're delighted to share our expansive garden with you, filled with sweet and peaceful corners perfect for picnicking or basking in the sun. As a traditional French "corps de ferme," our property is designed with a central meeting place amidst the stone buildings.

Additionally, our Hearth (a combination of Earth and Heart) is available for you to enjoy. Twice a week, we offer Table d'Hôtes, and whenever possible, we cook directly with a wood fire in our summer kitchen. Apart from these scheduled meals, feel free to use this space to prepare your own culinary delights.
