Welcome to "Le Val du Roy" Bed and Breakfast in Joinville. We offer four beautifully decorated guest rooms, each exuding an authentic atmosphere that will transport you back in time. From canopy beds to antique furniture and traditional Lorraine cupboards, our rooms are filled with charming period details such as beams, wood paneling, and old floors. The rooms are adorned with various ancient trinkets, giving the impression that they have withstood the test of time since the seventeenth century.

While we take pride in preserving the authenticity of our establishment, we have also ensured modern comforts are in place. Our rooms feature glass basins and modern showers, seamlessly blending the old with the new. Three of our rooms have shared shower facilities concealed behind a screen, providing a spacious and pleasant area exclusively for each room.

The "Antoinette de Bourbon" room boasts a canopy bed and alcove, along with a spacious private bathroom that includes an antique bathtub and shower. This room can accommodate up to three guests. The "Claude de Lorraine" room features an antique double bed, an old wardrobe, and various decorative elements such as a baby-basket and an old sewing machine. It also has its own shower, toilet, and lavabo.

In the "Jean de Joinville" room, you will find two old corner beds, an antique wardrobe, and a double sink, along with a shower and toilet. The grand "Mary Stuart" room offers a double canopy bed with electric bedding, a sofa-bed for extra guests, a dressing table, a wardrobe, and a mezzanine bathroom. Each room is equipped with a TV, and free WIFI is available throughout the house.

Ancienne maison très romantique, chambres décorées avec le goût d'antan. On se croirait dans un autre temps. Petit-déjeuner parfait, accueil très chaleureux. Jolie décoration partout. A recommander!

Joinville is situated in the department of Haute-Marne, between the cities of Dijon and Reims, Nancy and Troyes, or Chaumont and Saint-Dizier. Upon reaching Joinville, proceed towards Wassy and locate the Hotel du Nord on the main road. Afterward, continue a short distance uphill where you will find the B&B "Le Val du Roy" on your left at 11 Rue Camille Gillet. The B&B is situated behind cast iron grates at the bottom of the garden. You can park your car on the sidewalk, and the owners will provide instructions on where to park for unloading luggage at 22 Rue du Valleroy.
