Description:

Description for B&B:

Welcome to Chambres et Table d'Hôtes "Domaine Le Chec," where we invite you to experience our charming and character-filled guest rooms. Located on the border of the Gers and the Hautes-Pyrénées and near the towns of Trie-sur-Baïse and Castelnau Magnoac, our old farmhouse, built in the early twentieth century, embodies warmth and hospitality.

Our spacious house features a large sitting room with a cozy open fire, complemented by wooden floors and oak beams. The "salle à manger" provides a delightful space for meals. Whether it's the cool interior during summer or the cozy atmosphere in winter, our farmhouse offers comfort throughout the year.

Upstairs, you'll find three tastefully decorated, generously sized bedrooms. Each double room boasts a luxurious ensuite bathroom, showcasing both variety and style. Start your day with a delicious breakfast served in the dining room or, during warmer months, outside on the terrace or in the covered summer kitchen.

We happily welcome dogs, and free wifi is available for your convenience. Additionally, our property showcases a magnificent 2.5 acre garden, offering breathtaking views of the Gers valleys and the Pyrenees mountains.

Chambres et Table d'Hôtes "Domaine Le Chec" is conveniently located approximately two and a half hours away from the sun-soaked Mediterranean beaches and two hours from the Atlantic coast, where you can explore coastal resorts like Biarritz and St. Jean-de-Luz. If you're seeking a mountainous adventure, the Spanish border and Pyrenees ski resorts are less than an hour away. You can also take long walks, enjoy bike rides, or even go paragliding for an active stay.

Of course, we mustn't forget the gastronomic delights of the region. The Gers is renowned for its duck, foie gras, and porc noir, while the vineyards of Madiran produce excellent wines. Each evening, we invite you to join our guesttable, where we serve a four-course dinner featuring fresh and seasonal products from our region, accompanied by our carefully selected local wines.

We eagerly look forward to meeting you and sharing the wonders of Chambres et Table d'Hôtes "Domaine Le Chec" with you.

Warm regards,

Ron & Jo Rooding
