Welcome to the heart of Bailleul, a city in the beautiful Flemish countryside. In 2013, Isabelle and Philippe celebrated their 90th year in their charming house, and now they welcome guests every weekend in their two tastefully renovated rooms. The first room, named "The Carillon," offers a stunning view of the belfry, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The second room, named "Gargantua," pays homage to the vibrant carnival of the city.Each room is equipped with a comfortable double bed (1.60m*2m), bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe, a dresser, a TV, and an electric kettle for your coffee, hot chocolate, or tea needs. You will also find a luggage stand and a bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink. We provide towels for your convenience.
In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast in the bright dining area overlooking the garden. If it's a chilly morning, the wood stove will provide a cozy atmosphere.
"Belle de Flandre" is open to guests from 17:00 on Fridays until 10:00 on Mondays. It is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the train station and around 2km from the A25 motorway. Within approximately 30 minutes by car, you can reach Ypres, Lille, Dunkirk, Hazebrouck, and St Omer.
For lunch and dinner, there are plenty of restaurants in Bailleul and along the Belgian border offering traditional Flemish cuisine.
The price for each room, accommodating two persons, is €65. To secure your reservation, a deposit of 50% is required. Please note that cancellations must be made at least one week before the first night, as the deposit is non-refundable after this date.
