Located between Gard and Hérault, in close proximity to the charming medieval town of Sommières, the Gîte des Bois provides two separate cottages perfect for 2 to 4 people. Nestled peacefully within a park of lush green oak trees, exuding the scents of the garrigue, this stunning property boasts a swimming pool and offers a serene and natural environment just outside the village.The "Bleuette" cottage is housed in a traditional dry stone mazet. It is a single-level, private and air-conditioned space, tastefully decorated. The cottage features a spacious fenced terrace overlooking the park. It includes one independent bedroom with a comfortable 160 bed, a sofa bed in the living room, an open and well-equipped kitchen (complete with dishwasher, washing machine, and all necessary small appliances), air conditioning, and internet access.
The Marion cottage is a charming studio situated on the ground floor under the shade of oak trees. It is also air-conditioned and features a large 160 bed, a kitchenette equipped with all the essentials, a living room with a sofa (with the possibility of accommodating 2 additional guests), a TV, a lovely bathroom, a washing machine, and a spacious terrace overlooking the beautifully landscaped area. This cottage also provides air conditioning and internet access.
Guests have access to the real swimming pool, the park, the barbecue area, and the boulodrome. There is convenient parking available under the carport within the enclosed property. Pets are allowed with an additional fee. Beds will be made upon your arrival, and we will take care of the cleaning upon your departure.
As locals who are passionate about our region, we will welcome you with warmth and simplicity. Our accommodations are clean and cozy, making you feel right at home. The Gîte des Bois is an ideal place to relax and explore the entire region. It is conveniently located just thirty minutes away from the beaches and the Camargue, and it is also situated along the route to the Cévennes, near the peak of Saint-Loup.

Directions
Take the freeway out and head towards A9 27 LUNEL. At the roundabout, turn left towards Sommières (D34). In Sommières, continue straight at the first roundabout. At the second roundabout, take the left towards Saint de Tréviers, heading towards Galargues (D22 then D1). Continue straight towards Galargues and exit the village. Pass in front of the cooperative cellar. The Shelter of Wood can be found 100 meters to the left after the cellar. Look for a green metallic gate and a wall made of dry stones. If you encounter any issues or delays, don't hesitate to call. We look forward to seeing you soon.
