Description for Gite

"Welcome to 'Le Vieil Aiglun,' a charming village dating back to the 16th century. Perched high at an elevation of 2,540 ft in the stunning Haute Provence region, this ancient village offers breathtaking panoramic views of Provence, the Alps, and the Verdon area. Originally abandoned by its inhabitants in the early 20th century, we have lovingly restored and transformed the remaining habitable buildings into comfortable and luxurious self-catering houses, awarded with 3 and 4 stars. Situated in a tranquil location nestled between Provence and the Alps, 'Le Vieil Aiglun' provides a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, yet conveniently close to a small town that offers a variety of shops and restaurants. Our guests have exclusive access to a large swimming pool (13 x 6 sqm) and a spacious garden boasting stunning views of the fields and the illuminated ancient Roman church at night. With an abundance of chairs, armchairs, and hammocks, the garden is the perfect spot to curl up with a book or simply soak in the breathtaking scenery. We warmly invite you to experience the beauty and tranquility of 'Le Vieil Aiglun!'"
