Located in the heart of the Perigord Noir, in the scenic valley of the Dordogne and the Vezere, our peaceful and tranquil gite is nestled in a charming village with a 13th century church. Surrounded by stunning walks and hikes, and just minutes away from the famous Lascaux caves, Sarlat, and the Eyzies, our property, known as the Garden of Eden, is the perfect retreat for both friends and family.Our accommodations, including The Four (1 bedroom, sleeps 2), The Chalet, and The Oustal (2 bedrooms, sleeps 4), as well as The Fournil (4 bedrooms, sleeps 6 to 8), have recently been redecorated and modernized while still maintaining their original features such as wooden beams and stone walls, which add to their charm and character.
Each cottage is equipped with modern amenities including a color TV, DVD player, electric or gas cookers, microwave oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, hoover, iron and ironing board, air ventilators, parasol, BBQ, garden furniture, and all kitchen utensils.
Our landscaped garden boasts a fenced-off swimming pool area with tables, chairs, and sun loungers, as well as various children's games such as swings, table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and football. For those who love nature, there are numerous public footpaths, off-road cycling routes, and opportunities for canoeing and fishing. Wake up to the melodic songs of birds and explore the many prehistoric caves, dwellings, and castles in the area for history enthusiasts. And of course, for those who simply want to relax and indulge in fine wines and exquisite Perigordine cuisine, the Garden of Eden offers all that and more.
Additional services such as sheets, towels, baby's cot, high chair, and baby's bath are available upon request. Please note that electricity is not included in the rental price.
