Description for B&B:
She was known as "the Vierzou," a place that held a special significance to many. It was a destination where people willingly gathered to indulge in roasted barley or herbal tea and engage in lively conversations during the vigil.Time has passed, stretching into years and even centuries. However, a few years ago, one of her great grandchildren sought to revive the legacy of "la Vierzou" by settling in this very place.
In the present day, amidst the 21st century, one can still find solace and tranquility in the depths of Auvergne - a region often referred to as the "Midi du Auvergne" in tourism brochures. Situated in a village with only 30 inhabitants, perched at an elevation of 900 meters above sea level, this house, originally built in the early 1800s, has been thoughtfully renovated using environmentally friendly materials. Here, one can truly escape from the clutches of pollution and modern distractions. In fact, there isn't even a television present, which speaks volumes about the serene ambiance offered by this place.
