The Perfect Mountain Getaway B&B
Review by: John Belmont, Nov 6 2017 1:54AM
I have stayed at Regine's B&B six times over the years, and every visit has been wonderful. She is fully attentive to our requests, and she is always interested in our plans for the day and how she might make suggestions to make the day even more enjoyable. The house is a traditional Pyrenees home, fully modernized -- the Wifi works splendidly, and every morning you wake up to a view of the mountains and neighboring villages across the valley. The location is perfect: A short drive up the valley to reach the justifiably famous Col de Tourmalet, and down the valley to Luz St. Saveur, which is a perfect gateway to the valleys of the high mountains. east and west of there. Enjoy Regine's fine traditional French breakfast, then drive off for a day of authentic mountain pleasures, great sight-seeing and great hiking.
