Our establishment provides two spacious and cozy rooms, each with its own unique charm and serviced by a magnificent spiral staircase dating back to the 15th century. The George Sand Chamber, featuring a comfortable double bed, has preserved its elegant 18th century décor, complete with wood paneling that conceals an alcove bathroom equipped with a shower and separate toilet. On the other hand, the Studio Stevenson seamlessly combines traditional and contemporary elements, offering a delightful ambiance. This room can comfortably accommodate two to three individuals and includes a convenient kitchenette adjacent to the bedroom, allowing guests to enjoy their stay with absolute freedom. Un week-end d'automne au château de Volhac
Nous venons de passer un excellent week-end au château de Volhac, en Haute-Loire, deux jours doux et ensoleillés, à profiter des frondaisons du parc, à découvrir la riche et passionnante histoire de cette très ancienne maison forte, un des premiers châteaux des bords de Loire. Chambre d'hôtes très agréable avec vue sur la Loire, excellent petit déjeuner partagé avec les propriétaires des lieux, accueillants, disponibles et attentifs à la grande qualité du séjour.
Une adresse à recommander
Le cadre est somptueux. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et chaleureux. Deux gentils chats vous accueilleront tout en discrétion dans le parc du château. Décor authentique, grand confort, bonne literie et excellent petit déjeuner. Si vous souhaitez vivre un instant de rêve et suspendu dans le temps, nous vous recommandons cette adresse.

To travel from Clermont-Ferrand to the House of Volhac strong in Brives-Charensac, follow these directions:
- Take the N102 road towards Le Puy en Velay.
- Continue on the N102 through Le Puy en Velay and head towards Aubenas Mende (N88).
- At the first roundabout after leaving Le Puy, turn left towards Coubon (D38).
- Drive for approximately 3 km until you reach the entrance of Coubon Volhac.
- At the entrance of Coubon Volhac, turn left towards Brives-Charensac. Do not cross the bridge.
- Follow the signs for the Historic Monuments "House of Volhac strong".
If you are coming from Aubenas Mende-N on the N88, follow these directions:
- At the entrance of Le Puy, head towards Coubon (D38).
- Then follow the directions mentioned above.
If you are coming from Saint-Etienne on the N88 towards Le Puy en Velay, follow these directions:
- When you reach the industrial area of Brives-Charensac, at the roundabout, turn left towards Brives-Charensac.
- At the second roundabout, take the direction towards Coubon (D37).
- Drive for approximately 5 km through the village of Latour.
- After 1 km from the entrance of Coubon Volhac, follow the signs indicating the Historical Monuments of Maison Forte Volhac.
- Take the N102 road towards Le Puy en Velay.
