Eric and Corinne warmly invite you to their 16th-century manor house, nestled in the picturesque countryside near Valognes, Cherbourg, and the historic D-Day beaches. This charming cottage, recently renovated in the 18th century, is surrounded by beautiful gardens and fields, offering two apartments for 3 and 4 persons respectively. Alternatively, you can book the entire cottage to comfortably accommodate up to 7 individuals.From our central location, you will have easy access to a myriad of fascinating attractions. Explore Cherbourg's renowned "Cité de la Mer," embark on an adventure to the enchanting Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey, or pay homage to the historic D-Day beaches and their iconic monuments, such as Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, and Sainte-Mère-Église.
GITE N°1 is a cozy retreat for 3 persons. The ground floor features a welcoming living/dining room adorned with sofas and a grand, albeit non-functional, fireplace. Adjacent to this area, you'll find a convenient bar equipped with basic cooking facilities, including a microwave and fridge. Ascend to the first floor, where a spacious room awaits, complete with a queen size bed and a single bed. The bathroom boasts a luxurious bathtub, wash-hand basin, and WC, all complemented by a stylish bamboo wood floor.
For larger groups, GITE N°2 is an ideal option, accommodating up to 4 persons. The ground floor boasts a generous living/dining room furnished with comfortable sofas and an impressive, yet ornamental, fireplace. Entertainment options include a TV, CD/DVD player, and internet access. Additionally, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer can be found at the adjacent bar. Ascend to the first floor, where you'll discover two spacious rooms featuring a queen size bed and two single beds. The bathroom offers a refreshing shower, wash-hand basin, WC, and a charming bamboo wood floor.
Guests will have access to a private garden, with a portion reserved exclusively for their enjoyment. A patio area, complete with tables and chairs, is also available for relaxation and outdoor dining.
