Description for B&B:

Welcome to our charming bed and breakfast, nestled in the tranquil countryside near Valognes, Cherbourg, and the historic D-Day beaches. Our 16th-century manor offers a unique and memorable stay, surrounded by picturesque farm buildings, including a cider-press and old arches.

To reach your accommodation, you will ascend an enchanting spiral stone staircase, leading to the first and second floors. We have five exceptionally comfortable rooms available, each furnished with queen size or four-poster beds. For larger groups, we offer a suite with two interconnected rooms, accommodating up to 15 guests.

The central location of our manor provides convenient access to a variety of interesting attractions. Explore "La cité de la mer" in Cherbourg, or take a short trip to the Channel Islands, such as Jersey and Guernsey. History enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to the D-Day beaches and their monuments, including Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, and Sainte-Mère-Église.

Our manor's rich history dates back to the 16th century, with even older foundations. Extensive renovations were carried out during the 18th century, preserving its historical charm. The surrounding area holds traces of its Gallo-Roman past, as Savigny was once connected to the renowned town of Alauma. Additionally, the property is bordered by the ancient Roman causeway of Cosedia.

We look forward to welcoming you to our peaceful and historic manor, where you can relax and explore the fascinating surroundings.
