We have three spacious rooms available, each with a unique and unconventional design. The highlight of our property is a large south-facing terrace measuring 150m², perfect for enjoying the breathtaking view, witnessing beautiful sunsets, hosting barbecues, and even taking a nap or indulging in a good book.

Start your day with our traditional breakfasts, featuring a selection of homemade and locally sourced products. For dinner, we offer a table d'hôte experience, allowing you to dine in a warm and convivial atmosphere. Please note that reservations are required. Our commitment to quality means that most of the ingredients used in our dishes, including meat, eggs, vegetables, and fruits, are sourced from our garden or neighboring producers.

If you're seeking relaxation, Melissa is a skilled masseuse who can provide you with a rejuvenating massage. Additionally, we have a sauna available for your use.

Our castle is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from Limoux, where you'll find all the necessary amenities, the scenic Aude river, and the road leading to the Pyrenees. The historic city of Carcassonne is also within a 40-minute distance, allowing you to immerse yourself in Cathar history and explore the region's magnificent castles.

The surrounding area is renowned for its vibrant markets, medieval villages, and stunning abbeys. Description for Gite

The ground floor features a spacious master suite that can accommodate up to 4 guests. The suite includes a queen-size bed on a mezzanine level and a trundle bed with 2 single beds on the floor. The bedroom also includes a bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. For added convenience, there is a kitchenette with a dining area and television, providing guests with some autonomy if needed.

On the first floor, there is a charming double bedroom with a queen-size bed and a desk. This room offers stunning views of the hills and vineyards to the south. The private bathroom is separate from the bedroom and includes a toilet.

Located on the second floor, the quadruple room provides the most breathtaking view of the village. It features a standard double bed and a trundle bed with 2 single beds.

Each room is spacious, measuring at least 20m² excluding the bathrooms. They are well-equipped with amenities such as tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, wifi, heating, and a fan. Sheets and towels are provided for guests' convenience.

Please note that access to the upper floors is only available via stairs, and we kindly ask guests to remove their shoes before ascending. This is to preserve the heritage of the staircase and original floor, reduce noise, and enhance your overall comfort. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Rire et bonne humeur étaient au rendez-vous chez François et Melissa ,pour les deux soirées que nous avons passées chez eux; et ça fait du bien pour notre première escapade post confinement!

Directions

Upon reaching the village, simply adhere to the path indicated by the directional signs. The castle is situated at the highest spot in the village, positioned between the water tower and the church, both of which are easily noticeable from a distance. Park your vehicle at the designated parking lot near the water tower. To access the castle entrance, you need only ascend a few steps onto a porch. Traverse the castle's terrace in order to reach the reception area where we eagerly await your arrival.
