Located in the tranquil hamlet of St Pardoux, this spacious 84 m² house is available for weekly rental. It can accommodate 6-8 people and is situated at an altitude of 1100m, offering stunning views of the church, Cantal, and Sancy.The house is conveniently close to the Tour d'Auvergne, where you will find various shops such as a mini market, bakery, butcher, tobacco/newspaper store, bars, restaurants, garage/service station, medical office, pharmacy, bank, and local producers of cold cuts and cheeses.
There are plenty of nearby attractions and activities to enjoy. The property is just 600m away from a beautiful swimming lake, which has received the prestigious Blue Flag classification. For winter sports enthusiasts, there are several ski resorts within a short distance, including La Stele (5 min), Chastreix Sancy (10 min), Mont Dore (25 min), and Super Besse (30 min). Additionally, there are spa towns like La Bourboule (15 min) and Mont Dore (20 min) nearby. Nature lovers will appreciate the abundance of hiking trails, waterfalls, and lakes in the area.
The ground floor of the house features a spacious living room with a large table and benches, a cantou with storage for jackets and ski suits, and a designated space for ski storage. There is also a lounge area with a 92cm LCD TV, a convertible corner sofa that can accommodate 2 additional guests, and a coffee table. The fully equipped kitchen includes a 200L fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, ceramic hob, extractor hood, electric oven, dishwasher, and ample storage space. All necessary crockery is provided. Additionally, there is a bathroom with a washbasin and shower, as well as a separate toilet.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with a double bed (140x190 cm) each and one bedroom with two single beds (90x190 cm). The beds are equipped with mattresses, pillows, and duvets (bed linen is not provided). Each bedroom has its own wardrobe. There is also a separate toilet on this floor.
The chalet is non-smoking and pets are allowed, subject to certain conditions.
The rental prices vary depending on the season. High season rates are 550 Euros per week and apply during Christmas, February/March (school holidays), and July/August (school holidays). Mid-season rates are 450 Euros per week and apply in May/June and September. Low season rates are 350 Euros per week and apply for the rest of the year. Weekend stays of at least 2 nights are available off-season for 250 Euros. There is also a spa package available for 3 weeks at a rate of 800 Euros. A tourist tax of 0.7 Euros per person per day applies, but children under 18 are exempt.
