The house, constructed in the mid-1600s, exudes character and charm, boasting exposed oak beams, window seats, an inglenook fireplace, and flagged floors. The cozy TV lounge, complete with an open log fire, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. A wide range of books and games are available in the sitting room, where guests are encouraged to play the piano and other musical instruments. Each of our comfortable bedrooms is adorned with period features, a small en-suite, and tasteful furnishings.

Unwind in our expansive riverside garden, a sanctuary for wildlife, including frequent visits from the kingfisher. Guests can indulge in private trout fishing, while children have access to a small play area equipped with a swing, trampoline, garden games, and boating (subject to river conditions).

For those seeking a delightful dining experience, we offer evening meals made with fresh local ingredients from Monday to Thursday. Traditional favorites such as Roast Beef and Yorkshires, alongside Beryl's special bread and butter pudding, are sure to satisfy. Start your day off right with our full English breakfast. All meals are served around our large oak table, providing an opportunity to share the day's events with fellow guests.
