The Serene is a charming stone guest house located in the picturesque South-West of France, near the borders of the Tarn, Tarn et Garonne, and Lot regions. It serves as a perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful and green getaway.

Situated just 6km from Najac, our guest house is conveniently close to several renowned towns and attractions such as Villefranche de Rouergue, Cordes, Bruniquel, and St Antonin Noble Val. Additionally, the cities of Albi, Rodez, Cahors, and Figeac are all within a one-hour drive and are definitely worth exploring.

Surrounding our beautiful house, we have created various comfortable sitting areas including a terrace, garden, petanque court, and a family pool exclusively available for our guests' enjoyment.

To enhance the sense of community and foster connections, we offer a host table experience upon reservation. This delightful dining experience allows us to share a meal with our guests, creating a special moment of exchange and conviviality.

For those with specific dietary preferences, we gladly provide vegetarian meal options.

Directions

To get to La Serene, you have two options for air travel. There are regular flights to Toulouse International Airport, which is about a 1.5-hour drive away. Alternatively, you can fly to Rodez, which is approximately a 1-hour drive from La Serene.

If you prefer to travel by road, here's the recommended route: Start from Paris and take the A10 towards Orleans. Continue on the A71 in the direction of Vierzon. Once in Vierzon, switch to the A20, which will take you towards Limoges and Toulouse. At Cahors, exit the A20 and follow the D911 road towards Villefranche de Rouergue. La Fouillade is located about 20 kilometers to the west of Villefranche.
