Experience a warm and inviting stay at the Provençal Bastide, a magnificent 18th-century monastery lovingly restored by the Lecomte family. Situated just moments away from the vibrant center of Aix en Provence, this charming establishment offers four exquisitely designed guest rooms adorned with period furniture, Provençal fabrics, and opulent bed linens. Formerly a mas, bastide, and vineyard, our bastide has been meticulously refurbished over the past two years.

Nestled amidst two acres of picturesque gardens, bathed in sunlight and tranquility, our property provides the ultimate setting for relaxation. Lounge by the expansive swimming pool, engage in a friendly game of badminton or ping pong, or try your hand at the beloved French pastime of pétanque under the shade of majestic pine trees. The well-established grounds showcase a variety of trees including almond, olive, eucalyptus, sycamore, chestnut, and lime, while the delightful vegetable and herb gardens are a feast for the eyes.

Start your day with a delectable gourmet breakfast, meticulously prepared by Caroline, enjoyed on the patio before embarking on a journey to explore the enchanting wonders of Aix en Provence and the breathtaking countryside that has inspired illustrious painters and poets throughout history.

Each of our four elegantly appointed bedrooms, ranging from 25 to 35 square meters, exudes its own unique character. Adorned with tasteful antique country furnishings, all rooms offer plush bedding adorned with local fabrics, luxurious linens, a cozy seating area, and a well-appointed shower room, ensuring the utmost comfort and well-being of our esteemed guests. Directions

If you are coming from the North, West, or South on highways, head towards Aix and take the A8 highway towards Nice. Take the first exit, which is exit #30 (Aix - Pont de l’Arc, Luynes). At the first roundabout, turn right onto RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes. Drive for approximately 2.3 km and you will be close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto it. After 200m, you will reach a gate that you can enter through.

If you are coming from the East on A8, take the second exit after the toll, which is also exit #30 (Aix - Pont de l’Arc). Make a U-turn at the first roundabout and head south onto RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes. Drive for approximately 2.4 km and you will be close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto it. After 200m, you will reach a gate that you can enter through.

From Aix Downtown (Rotonde), take Avenue des Belges heading south from Rotonde. After the roundabout, continue onto Avenue Pierre Brossolette. Cross over Highway A8 and drive for approximately 2.4 km on RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes. You will be close to your destination. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto it. After 200m, you will reach a gate that you can enter through.

If you are coming from Marignane Airport or TGV Station, exit the airport and take route D9 towards "Gare TGV" and "Vitrolles". Ignore signs for the Aix Marseille Highway. Drive for approximately 10 km and D9 will pass below the TGV station. From the TGV station, continue on route D9 towards Aix. Stay on D9 until you reach a traffic light at its end (after a few roundabouts). At the traffic light, turn right onto RN8 (Avenue Fortune Ferrini) and drive for 2 km. Look for an unpaved path between two posts with the number 2240 written on them, and turn right onto it. After 200m, you will reach a gate that you can enter through.
