Experience the charm and character of "La Metairie du Fraysse", a beautiful cottage located in the picturesque region of Corrèze. This spacious detached house, restored in 2011, offers all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay and provides the perfect setting for relaxation.

For those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature, this characterful house is nestled in a small hamlet in Corrèze, close to the stunning Gorges of the Dordogne. It retains its original charm with thick stone walls, an inglenook fireplace, typical bassière, exposed beams, and a slate roof.

The cozy 30m2 living room centers around the traditional inglenook fireplace and is equipped with a stove, a large plasma TV, DVD player, and stereo. We also provide wireless internet access for your convenience.

The kitchen, open to the living room, is fully equipped with modern appliances including an oven, hob, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and all necessary kitchen utensils. A laundry room is also available for your use.

The house features three comfortable bedrooms: one with a double bed, another with a double bed and a single bed (wrought iron sofa), and a small room with a single bed. The bathroom includes two basins and a bath with a tropical rain shower. We also provide baby equipment such as a cot, highchair, bath, changing mat, potty, and bottle warmer.

Well-behaved pets are welcome, but we kindly request that you inform the owner when making a booking. Smoking is not allowed inside the house, and we request that cigarette butts are disposed of properly in the provided ashtrays.

The expansive 2000m2 garden, enclosed by a beautiful dry stone wall, offers a peaceful retreat with two lounges, a parasol, a barbecue, a playground, and a badminton set for your enjoyment.

Whether you're seeking a relaxing holiday or an active adventure, our cottage is the perfect base. Nearby attractions include the stunning Sédières Castle, Gimel waterfalls, Argentat-sur-Dordogne, the Middle Ages discovery center in Egletons, Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Tours de Merle, and the medieval farm in Xaintrie. You can also visit the President Chirac museum in Sarran, explore Tulle, or venture further to discover the Canal des Moines in Aubazine, Collonges-la-Rouge, Curemonte, Turenne, Padirac, Pompadour, Rocamadour, the Lascaux Cave, the Natural Park of Auvergne Volcanoes, Sarlat, Figeac, Salers, and Aurillac.
