Welcome to "La Colline"! Tom and Johanna are delighted to have you as their guests. Situated just 2km away from the medieval center of Sarlat-La-Canéda, we offer five comfortable guest rooms, a gîte, and table d'hôtes.THE ROOMS
Each of our five beautiful bedrooms is equipped with its own bathroom, shower, and toilet. Free WIFI is available throughout the property. You have the option to choose between a queen-size bed or twin beds. A generous breakfast is served every morning from 8 to 10 o'clock, featuring pastries, baguettes, jams, orange juice, yogurt, and cereals. Breakfast is included in the price of the B & B. Please note that all our rooms are non-smoking. Air conditioning is available upon request. Additionally, we offer table d'hôtes upon request. All our rooms overlook the garden, providing you with the perfect spot for a picnic, reading a good book, or relaxing after exploring Sarlat or engaging in one of the many activities offered in the Périgord Noir region.

THE REGION
Situated on a sunny slope on the outskirts of Sarlat-La-Canéda, La Colline is the ideal base for exploring the Dordogne region. A short 2km walk will lead you to the center of Sarlat, a city renowned for its restored medieval architecture and rich history. Sarlat is located in the heart of the Périgord Noir, a region known for its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and culinary delights.
In our opinion, visiting the local markets is a must-do activity in the region.
Surrounding La Colline, you will find numerous prehistoric sites and painted caves, with fifteen of them being part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The Périgord region invites you to discover ten of the "most beautiful villages of France." Whether you are interested in castles, abbeys, churches, or picturesque alleyways, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
If you are willing to venture a little further, the sacred city of Rocamadour, also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is just 50km away and well worth the one-hour drive.
Throughout the year, the region hosts various events and offers a wide range of sports activities. The Tamniès pond, only 10 minutes away, provides opportunities for swimming, fishing, paddle boating, and tennis.
Of course, you can also unwind in our garden, soaking up the sun, indulging in a good book, or savoring a glass of wine.
Description for Gite
The ground floor apartment at La Colline can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people, making it an ideal choice for families with children who want to enjoy a pleasant holiday near Sarlat. The apartment boasts a convenient location just 2 km from the historic center of Sarlat, allowing guests to easily explore the beautiful city on foot without the hassle of parking.Inside the apartment, guests will find a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed and a TV, as well as a second bedroom with bunk beds. The bathroom features a shower and toilet, and there is a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area for guests to prepare and enjoy meals. The apartment also offers a partially covered terrace facing southwest, complete with comfortable outdoor furniture to relax and soak in the surroundings.
The rental includes all necessary amenities such as sheets, towels, water, electricity, and heating. Free WIFI is also available for guests' convenience. Upon request, an air conditioner can be provided for an additional fee of 5 € per day. At the end of your stay, a mandatory cleaning package is required, priced at 50 euros. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the apartment.
In addition to the comfortable accommodation, La Colline offers the option to have breakfast provided, with croissants, pastries, and baguettes available upon request. Guests can also join the hosts for a generous breakfast for an additional cost of 7 € per person. In the evening, the hosts offer the option of a table d'hôtes, providing a delicious dinner experience upon request.
