Description:

Description for B&B:

Situated in Marseille's 9th arrondissement, in the southern area of the city, this bed & breakfast is set within a family property. The premises have been cleverly transformed to include a restaurant, serving lunch, as well as guest rooms. The property's layout has been carefully designed with an ethical approach, inspired by environmental sustainability. From cultivating produce for the restaurant to utilizing solar panels for water and electricity, even the renovation materials reflect eco-consciousness. The establishment is aptly named Ginkgo, paying homage to the renowned Ginkgo Biloba tree.

Ginkgo boasts three double rooms, each with its own unique vegetable-themed ambiance. While check-in is available throughout the day, the rooms are only accessible after 3pm from Monday to Wednesday, and after 5pm from Thursday to Sunday. Check-out must be completed by 11am if the room is occupied on the same day, or by 3pm if the room is unoccupied. Should you have any additional inquiries, kindly consult with the host.

Guests are welcome to explore the vast outdoor space of the property, including a visit to the vegetable garden. Furthermore, a parking lot is available for your convenience.

The restaurant operates from Thursday to Sunday, serving lunch between 12pm and 3pm. Additionally, we offer evening meals and upscale picnic baskets upon request, subject to availability. For more details, kindly consult with the host.

Ginkgo enjoys a prime location, just a short distance from the National Park "Les Calanques" (5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by public transportation, or a 25-minute walk), as well as the sea (10 minutes by car, 30 minutes by public transportation). Furthermore, Ginkgo organizes day trips on a sailing boat, accompanied by a local skipper, allowing guests to discover the treasures that Marseille has to offer. Please consult with the host for pricing and availability.
