Description for Gite

Welcome to our charming small country cottage in the heart of Provence, located in the picturesque town of SAINT SATURNIN LES APT in the Vaucluse. This cozy cottage is completely independent and adjoins the owner's house, which is no longer used, ensuring your privacy during your stay.

Perfect for a couple or a small family, the cottage can comfortably accommodate two people with the option of a baby (baby equipment provided free of charge upon request). Stay connected with our free WI-FI access throughout your stay.

The cottage is classified as a 2-star furnished tourism accommodation, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4-burner gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, vacuum cleaner, and a complete set of kitchen utensils.

Relax in the cozy bedroom furnished with a comfortable 160 cm bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a small chest of drawers, an armchair, and a storage cupboard. The bed is made upon your arrival for your convenience.

Unwind in the small relaxation room, featuring two Scandinavian armchairs, a coffee table, a small storage unit with decoration, and a stand fan to keep you cool during the summer months.

The cottage offers a bathroom with a shower and basin, as well as a separate WC for added convenience. Enjoy the outdoor terrace with garden furniture, sheltered under a beautiful green arbor with a scenic view of the vineyards. The terrace also includes a barbecue and comfortable bath loungers for your relaxation. Additionally, there is a carport available for your convenience.

For families with a baby, a baby cot is provided free of charge upon request.

The cottage is conveniently located just 1.5 km from the village, where you can find all necessary shops and amenities. Explore the beautiful surroundings with numerous hiking and biking tours that start right from the cottage. There are also many tourist sites nearby waiting to be discovered.

Here are the prices for 2022 per week:
- May: 296 euros
- June-September: 316 euros
- July-August: 376 euros

The tourist tax is already included in the price. Please note that a deposit of 100 euros is required upon arrival, which will be refunded on the day of departure if no damages are observed.

Additional services are available upon request, including towel rentals for 5 euros per person. Cleaning at the end of your stay is mandatory and costs 40 euros.

Please note that animals are not allowed in the cottage. We also offer a deposit refund in case of any COVID-19 related issues (please refer to the conditions with the owner).

Directions

DIRECTIONS TO REACH GITE LA TONNELLE:

1. Take the A7 motorway and exit at n° 24 (Châteaurenard, LIsle-sur-la-sorgue, Apt).
2. Turn right towards (Airport, Avignon, Apt and Isle-sur-la-sorgue).
3. At the roundabout, turn left onto the D900 towards (Caumont, LIsle-sur-la-sorgue, Apt).
4. Stay on the D900 and at the next roundabout, take the direction of (Dignes, Coustellet, Apt, Gordes).

ARRIVING AT COUSTELLET, two possible itineraries are available:

Itinerary n° 1: Route d'Apt
1. At Coustellet, continue straight on the D900 towards Apt at the crossroads.
2. Pass through the Beaumettes and Lights.
3. When you reach the entrance of Apt, turn left at the roundabout of the shopping center E-LECLERC.
4. Take the D943 "Avenue du Viaduc" towards Saint Saturnin les Apt, and go through the village.
5. At the end of the village, turn left onto the D2 "Route de Roussillon" towards Cavaillon, Gordes, Roussillon.
6. After 1.2 km, turn right in front of a house with large cedars and an oratory at the entrance.
7. Pass to your left, the domain of the Andes, and make a right turn on a small path to reach the bastide.

Itinerary n° 2: Route de Gordes
1. At Coustellet, turn left on the D2 towards the Imberts at the crossroads.
2. Continue on the D2 towards Gordes, and at the roundabout, go straight ahead (do not climb in the village of Gordes).
3. Follow the direction of Joucas, La Tuilière, Saint Saturnin les Apt.
4. Before reaching the "straight line" of Joucas, leave this town on the left and continue straight on La Tuilière, Saint Saturnin les Apt.
5. Cross the hamlet of La Tuilière and continue on the D2 for 4 km.
6. After passing the hamlet of the Bellots, go 100 meters and turn left on the second small road to access the cottage LA TONNELLE.
