Description for Gite

This countryside retreat is a charming detached house, perfectly situated among vineyards and cherry trees, facing south for optimal sunlight. Ideal for weekly rentals, this property does not offer bed and breakfast accommodations. The house boasts all the comforts you need, including a private swimming pool (8X4) with a secure fence exclusively for tenants, available from May 1st to October 10th. Stay cool with air conditioning and enjoy free WiFi throughout the property. The house is tastefully decorated with quality furnishings and features an integrated kitchen, a Provencal dining room, and a leather living room complete with a flat screen TV, CD radio, and DVD player. There are three bedrooms, two with 160 cm beds and one with two 90 cm beds, all equipped with covers, pillows, and bolsters. Each bedroom also has two bedside tables and a spacious closet. The house offers a bathroom with a bath, shower, double sinks, and a closet, as well as another bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. There is an additional independent toilet for convenience. A large garage with laundry facilities, including a washing machine and drying rack, is available. Relax on the large covered terrace with comfortable garden furniture, or take a dip in the pool surrounded by loungers and umbrellas. The property also offers diesel central heating or reversible air conditioning for your comfort. Please note that the cottage is not fenced, and small animals are only accepted upon request. Baby equipment can be provided free of charge upon request. The surrounding area offers various attractions, including a village located 1.5 km from the cottage, which can be reached by quaint country paths for those who enjoy walking. During the month of May, guests can even indulge in cherries straight from the orchard. Within a 10 to 15 km radius, you'll find numerous picturesque villages to explore, such as Bonnieux, Gordes, Roussillon, and Rustrel with its Provencal colorado. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the many Provencal markets, including Apt on Saturdays, St Saturnin on Tuesdays, Sault on Wednesdays, and Coustellet on Sundays. For those who love hiking, the town of Saint Saturnin offers many scenic trails to discover.

Directions

DIRECTIONS TO THE HOUSE:

1. Take exit 24 (Châteaurenard, LIsle-sur-la-Sorgue, Apt) from the A7 motorway.
2. Turn right towards Airport, Avignon, Apt, and Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
3. At the roundabout, turn left onto the D900 towards Caumont, LIsle-sur-la-Sorgue, and Apt.
4. Continue on the D900 and at the next roundabout, take the direction towards Worthy, Coustellet, Apt, and Gordes.

ARRIVAL IN COUSTELLET:

ROUTE 1: ROUTE APT
1. In Coustellet, continue straight on the D900 towards Apt at the junction.
2. Pass through the Beaumettes Enlightenment.
3. Just before entering Apt, at the roundabout near E-Leclerc shopping center, turn left.
4. Take the D943 "Avenue Viaduct" towards Saint Saturnin les Apt through the village.
5. After leaving the village, turn left onto the D2 "Roussillon Route" towards Cavaillon, Gordes, and Roussillon.
6. Drive for 1.2 km and when you see a house with large cedars and a chapel at the entrance on your right, turn left towards the field of Andéols.
7. After 50 meters, immediately turn right onto a small path to reach the country house.

ROUTE 2: ROUTE GORDES
1. In Coustellet, at the crossroads, turn left onto the D2 towards Imberts.
2. Continue on the D2 towards Gordes. At the roundabout, continue straight (do not go up into the village of Gordes) towards Joucas, La Tuilière, and Saint Saturnin les Apt.
3. Before reaching the "straight line" of Joucas, leave the town on the left and continue straight towards La Tuilière and Saint Saturnin les Apt.
4. Cross the hamlet of la Tuilière and continue on the D2 for 4 km. Pass the hamlet of Bellots and after 100 meters, turn left onto the second small road to reach the country house.
