Description for B&B:

Where is our guest house located? Our guest house is situated near the town of Montauroux, which is one of the nine picturesque hilltop villages that make up the Fayence Country. Located in Provence, in the Var region, on the edge of the Maritime Alps, our idyllic location between the sea and mountains offers the perfect opportunity to explore the stunning landscapes of the Var countryside, as well as the local and regional heritage, including architecture, gastronomy, history, and religion. Nearby, you will find well-known locations such as Saint Tropez, Nice, Cannes, Grasse, as well as lesser-known but equally interesting towns like Vence, Saint Maximin, Biot, the Thoronet, and Moustiers.

How can you reach our place? Our guesthouse is easily accessible by car via the A8 motorway, taking Exit 39, which is only 10 minutes away. If you prefer to travel by train, the TGV stations of St Raphael or Les Arcs are only 30 minutes away. For those flying in, Nice International Airport is 45 minutes away, or you can opt for the airfield in Fayence, which is just a 10-minute drive.

About the property: Our property is named "Le Vallon des Oliviers" or "Olive Trees Valley" due to the presence of a fountain and olive trees, which are two major characteristics of the south of France. The valley was originally named "The Vallon of the Fountain of the Olive Tree," but due to changes in landscape caused by harsh winters and a decline in olive oil consumption, the valley became covered with oaks and pines. Today, our property is surrounded by old olive trees, roses, lavender, and jasmine, creating a serene and peaceful environment.

Accommodations: We offer comfortable rooms, each equipped with separate toilets and well-equipped bathrooms. Our rooms have unique themes and are designed to provide a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

- Room "Painting": This spacious room (19m2) on the upper floor is decorated with paintings by Var painter Gilles Duran and offers a view overlooking the valley. It features a high-quality double bed (160x200), luxurious linen from Descamp boutique, and satellite TV. The room also has a private terrace (15 square meters) facing south/south-east for you to enjoy the sunshine in peace. As a special touch, we provide a welcome gift from the famous perfume creator Fragonard.

- Room "Photography": This bright and sunny room (23 square meters) on the upper floor features photographs by Guy Thouvignon, a renowned photographer. It has a high-quality double bed (160x200) and a convertible sofa bed or two single beds (180x200 or 90x180). The room also offers a private terrace (16 square meters) with a view of the valley. As with all our rooms, it includes luxurious linen, satellite TV, and a welcome gift from Fragonard.

- Room "Sculpture": Inspired by famous artists like Picasso, Cocteau, and Giacometti, this room (18 square meters) on the ground level showcases the craftsmanship of the Fayence area. It features a high-quality double bed (160x200), luxurious linen, and a functional bathroom with a shower. The room also offers a private terrace (16 square meters) overlooking the garden. Additionally, it is equipped to accommodate guests with limited mobility. A welcome gift from Fragonard is provided.

- Room "Arts": This large room (19 square meters) on the ground floor is bathed in light and offers lithographs that invite you to explore the works of famous artists. It has a high-quality double bed (160x200), luxurious linen, and a functional bathroom. The room also features a private terrace (16 square meters) facing the garden. It can be connected to the "Music" room to create a suite. Like all our rooms, it includes satellite TV and a welcome gift from Fragonard.

Additional Amenities: During your stay, you will have access to various amenities, including a shared living room, a library with a selection of books and tourism guides, a dining room for "table d'hôtes" meals, and a secure swimming pool (10m x 5m) with loungers and bath towels provided. We also have a fully equipped kitchen, a parking lot within the property, a traditional petanque area, and exterior lighting throughout the property. Our accommodations and facilities are suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Breakfast and Table d'Hôtes: We serve breakfast on the terrace or in the shade of the oak trees, using local or homemade products. Additionally, we offer "table d'hôtes" dinners on Tuesdays and Fridays, where you can enjoy regional specialties made with fresh ingredients from local sources. The dinners are served under the oak trees, on the terrace, or in the dining room, providing an opportunity to meet and engage in pleasant conversations with other guests. The price for the dinner is between 25 and 30 euros, depending on the menu, and includes a three-course meal with wine and coffee. Children under 2 years old are free, and there is a half-price option for children.

Booking and Rates: Our prices per night for one or two people per room include breakfast, but exclude the local tax of 0.88 euros per adult per night. Additional persons are charged 35 euros per day for adults and 17 euros per day for children, including breakfast. We offer free accommodation for children under 2 years old and can provide a cot and high chair upon request. To make a reservation, you can contact us directly by email or phone, and we will send you a booking contract. A deposit of 50% of the stay is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due upon arrival. We accept payment by check, cash, or bank transfer. Cancellation policies apply, with total refunds for cancellations made up to 30 days before arrival and no refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival. In the case of an early departure, the total amount is due, but a refund may be possible if we are able to rebook the room. Please note that pets are not allowed in the guest rooms for hygiene purposes, and the entire house is a non-smoking area (smoking is allowed outside).

Your Stay: During your stay, you can tailor your experience to your preferences, whether it's visiting wine chateaux, exploring gastronomic inns, enjoying nature walks, discovering local heritage, engaging in sports activities, or simply relaxing by the pool. We are open 365 days a year to accommodate your stay.

We recommend booking directly via email or phone, and we look forward to welcoming you to our guest house.
