Located in close proximity to the northern coast of Sicily, just a few kilometers away from Cefalů, Casa Migliaca is nestled between the Nebrodi Mountains and Madonie mountains. Positioned on a hill overlooking the sea on the East side of river Tusa’s valley, the stunning landscape encompasses the Tyrrhenian sea and the Nebrodi woods. This historic building, dating back to the 17th century, was initially an oil mill, but in the early nineties, it was transformed into a charming accommodation. Today, Casa Migliaca offers a simple yet warm hospitality experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, with guests gathering around the large round table, once used to press olives, for communal dinners. Breakfast is a leisurely affair with no time restrictions, and guests can help themselves in the ancient kitchen on the first floor. The property boasts eight rooms, each with its own unique charm. The rooms on the first floor feature antique furniture, while those on the ground level retain the original characteristics of the oil mill's service rooms. The remnants of the old functions, such as the silted jar, the small palmento, and the chestnut mezzanine, serve as nostalgic reminders of the past. Despite their adherence to the original architecture and dimensions, all the rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms, though compact, are fully functional. The main building is surrounded by a 12-hectare active farm that produces olive oil and citrus fruits.
