DIRECTIONS FOR DRIVING FROM THE NORTH:
To reach La Rochelle, come by car from the North and take the A10 highway. Follow the route towards Paris - Orléans - Tours - Chatellerault - Poitiers. Take exit 33 for La Rochelle Ile de Ré Lagord. Follow the signs to reach the output at Place/Verdun Parking. From there, head towards the WEST Vieux Port, which is now exclusively pedestrian.

DIRECTIONS FOR DRIVING FROM THE SOUTH:
If you're coming from the South, take the A10 highway towards Bordeaux - Saintes - La Rochelle. At A837, take the Lagord - Place/Verdun Parking exit. Follow the signs to reach the WEST Vieux Port, which is the old port now exclusively for pedestrians.

DIRECTIONS FOR TAKING THE TRAIN:
If you prefer to travel by train, there are TGV departures from Paris Montparnasse with approximately 13 departures per day. The journey takes around 2 hours and 50 minutes. You can make a reservation at voyages-sncf.com.
