Welcome to our guest rooms in the old forge, located in the center of town and restored by us. Cathy and Laurent are excited to welcome you to our cozy accommodations, which can accommodate up to 7 people. Each room is equipped with private showers, toilets, and closed parking for your convenience.Our location is perfect for history enthusiasts, as we are situated in the heart of the historic sites of the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944. We are just 35 km away from Sainte Mère Eglise and Utah Beach, and only 8 km from Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, and the American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer.
If you're interested in exploring further, the beautiful town of Bayeux is a gateway to the British and Canadian landing beaches. You can also visit Port-en-Bessin, Arromanches with its artificial port, Courseulles, and the resorts in Ouistreham.
If you have any questions about the history of the landings, Lawrence is passionate about this period and would be delighted to provide you with more details. And to start your day off right, Cathy will happily serve you breakfast between 8 am and 9:30 am. Our delicious breakfast will keep you energized for hiking in the nearby woods and marshes.
