In the charming village of Illfurth, just 300 m from the cottage, you will find convenient amenities such as a bakery, butcher, tobacco shop, small grocery store, and a traditional restaurant called "Le Coq". There is also an Irish pub, a Carrefour supermarket, two additional restaurants (a kebab shop and a pizzeria), a cheese shop, a pharmacy, four hairdressers, a library, three doctors, three dentists, two physiotherapists, a chiropodist, and a delightful little market on Thursday mornings. There is even a bicycle repairman available.

The house itself is spacious and filled with natural light, making it an ideal base for exploring the Alsace region, Switzerland, and Germany. It can accommodate up to six people and features a large south-facing balcony, a patio, and a closed garden measuring 500 m2.

Strasbourg is also just over an hour away via the A35 motorway. Additionally, there is a ski resort within 30 minutes and Freiburg, Germany can be reached in 45 minutes. For water park enthusiasts, the Laguna Water Park in Germany is also just a 45-minute drive away.
