Description for B&B:
Welcome to La Tourelle B&B in Colombotte, France. Situated in the charming village of Colombotte in the Haute-Saône region, our B&B offers a picturesque retreat overlooking the beautiful surroundings. Located between the Vosges and Jura regions, we are approximately 590 km from Calais. Our accommodation consists of a renovated farmhouse that seamlessly combines old-world charm with modern comfort. The original farmhouse offers cozy and comfortable rooms, while the spacious barn provides simpler accommodations. Additionally, we have a large common-room with a long dining table, known as the Table d'Hôtes.
Adjacent to our backyard, you will find a small rural camping area. On the premises to the left of the farmhouse, there is A-Côté, a studio suitable for up to four guests. Les Hiboux (The Owls) is another accommodation option located on the other side of the road, offering its own entrance, parking, and a lovely garden. This option is ideal for families or small groups.
We, Mirjam and Tim, left The Netherlands in 2001 to embark on a new adventure in Colombotte. We purchased an old farmhouse that hadn't been used for 40 years and, with the help of family, friends, and local craftsmen, transformed it into a charming Chambres d'Hôtes, which is the French version of a B&B. At La Tourelle, we not only serve a continental breakfast but also offer an exquisite dinner that can be enjoyed alongside us and other guests at our Table d'Hôtes.
Colombotte and its surroundings are known for their breathtaking beauty. Haute Saône, also known as "The Green Island" or "L'Île Verte," lives up to its name with its stunning fields and forests boasting a variety of shades of green.
If you're looking for an active holiday in France, Chambres d'Hôtes La Tourelle is the perfect base to explore the beautiful surroundings of Haute Saône. The region offers a plethora of activities, including golfing, horse riding, paragliding, parachute jumping, and even cave diving.
At La Tourelle, you can relax and enjoy the tranquility, space, and nature surrounding you. Whether you prefer to read a book, unwind in the garden, or indulge in a glass of wine or a refreshing drink, our B&B provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We warmly welcome you to La Tourelle!
Mirjam & Tim
